REASONS WHY YOU MUST WASH USED CLOTHES "BOSKORO" BEFORE WEARING THEM(MUST READ)


Everyone wants to look nice and good on clothes, Many Nigerians prefers buying clothes that are affordable, that's why majority of people in Nigeria prefered buying used overseas clothings also called (Bend Down and Select) or "Boskoro" in normal Naija layman language. But, do you realize you do more harms to yourself when you buy and wear used cloths at markets, here are the reasons :

1. YOU INVITE GERMS

You go to market to pick  a used shirt for yourself, and you directly wear them without even knowing the effects or reactions it can have on your skin. No, you shouldn't, wearing of used clothes can get you some germs on your skin, and do you know that clothes you choose to buy, someone would have wore it but at end may not have interest in it again? Do you know maybe that person have rashes on his / her body that can get you infected? Germs are microscopic organisms that we cant even see with our naked eye but are easily transmissible from one person to another.

So next time, try to view your size or know your exact cloth size if you choose to buy 'Used clothes' take them to your domicile and washed it thoroughly before you put them on to avoid unforseen skin infections.

2. YOU CAN CONTACT SOME BACTERIAL INFECTIONS

Most of even call big stores and shops where you get your Used clothes are very dirty or can i say to minimal Rough and dirty.

Without knowing, you can easily get infected with a cloth you bought from that shop, you can contact cattarh, coughs, staphylococcus infections, fungi infections especially from stockings, due to the dirty state of that store.

So next time, you wish to go for your shopping, look very well into the store you wish to buy from and save yourself from infections.

3. CHEMICAL EFFECTS

In case you don't know, most of the clothes you wear contains some chemicals constituents, such as dyes, tanins, resins, whether from the maker industry or for preservative purposes (especially formaldehyde) and these chemicals have been proofed to cause some allergic reactions 

Most Nigerians who loves buying Used clothes 'Boskoro' loves its pleasant odor when perceived but don't know that these odours were as a result of chemicals put on the clothes to preserve them from easily waring off or spoilage. That's why if you chose to buy 'Boskoro' clothe, kindly in your own interest disregard its pleasant Odour, take it home and wash it thoroughly before you put it on, these chemicals can easily react with your skin and gives you infections you don't expect.
