According to one of the most intelligent abroad based Doctor and twitter influencer, Dr Olufunmilayo, whose goes by twitter handle #Ourfavonlinedoc has critically explained how an expectant mother or those who are yet to marry women can know almost exact day of their delivery while pregnant.

According to him, he said and I quote;

"Write date of the last period, then add 9months to that date, add another 7days to the date, hat is the expected date of delivery.

Incase you are pregnant or know someone who is, teach them this.

You must use the first day of last period. And it should be a regular 28-day cycle.

Example:

So if last period start date was 1/1/2022
Add 9months, you get 1/10/2022
Add 7 days, you get 8/10/2022 as “expected” delivery date.
She can deliver anytime from then.

What if my cycle is more than 28days?

You add those extra days to the result of your calculation.
If for example your cycle is usually 32 days, that’s four extra days from 28days yeah?
If you are now pregnant,
Calculate your delivery date as I taught you and add 4.

What if my cycle is less than 28days?

Simple. You subtract those extra days from the result of your calculation.
If for example your cycle is usually 23days, that’s 5days minus 28days yeah?
If you are now pregnant,

Calculate your delivery date and subtract 5.
Remember this is “expected” delivery date. A woman’s body is not a machine. No science can accurately predict a delivery date 100% (not even an ultrasound machine even).

So expect that she may deliver the baby a few days earlier or later than your calculated date."
